The Nokia Lumia 1020 has finally launched in India today, at an event in New Delhi. The 41 Megapixel PureView camera had been doing its victory lap as one of the best camera phones around the world and it has finally reached destination India, alas without a price tag
With the launch the phone has landed in stores sporting a ‘coming soon tag. The phone has been spotted at flipkart online store in Black, Yellow and White colours.
The Lumia 1020 is an amalgamation of smartphone and camera from Nokia featuring leading ZEISS optics with six physical lenses, plus optical image stabilization to deliver crystal clear pictures even in low light conditions.
This Windows 8 operating system based camera phone sports a Snapdragon S4 dual core processor. The phone also sports 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory that can’t be expandable. Yet this will compete with any best phone in the market because of its awesome 41 megapixel shooter.
The camera phone is expected to hit 'for sale' status on 1-0th October.
