Samsung Note 3 launched

Finally Samsung pulled the covers off the brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The specs are exactly what we it expected. The LTE version is coming equipped with Snapdragon 800 with quad core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 while the international version is packed with Exynos 5420 with quad 1.9 GHz Cortex A15 and quad 1.3 GHz Cortex A7. The LTE version has Aderno 330 GPU while the international should have PowerVR SGX544MP3 GPU clocked at 533 MHz. Interestingly Note 3 has 3 GB RAM.

Incidentally Galaxy Note 1 has 1 GB RAM, Note 2 has 2 GB RAM, Note 3 has 3 GB RAM which means Note 4 will have 4 GB RAM. The trend is already set as a Chinese phone marker Hasee has already started production of a phone that has 4 GB RAM. Now coming back to Note 3, it has 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display panel with Full HD 1080p display panel at 386 ppi. Scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating is used on top of display surface.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 sports 13 MP back camera and 2 MP front camera. Back camera has LED flash and numerous features like auto focus, touch focus, HDR, face & smile detection, panorama, image stabilization, burst mode etc. Out of the box it will run Android 4.3 JellyBean. Giant Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will supplied a massive 3200 mAh battery.

The specs of Sony Xperia Z1 looks better than Galaxy Note 3 as it has 20.7 MP Cybershot camera, 5 inch BRAVIA 2 display, Snapdragon 800 in all versions and 3000 mAh battery. Note series phones has been different right from the beginning just because of the display size and features. More powerful S-Pen stylus is there in Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and this has been a distinguishing feature right from the beginning.
