Micromax Canvas Fun A63 3G coming soon with the price tag below 5600/-

All on a sudden Micromax released a bunch of affordable smartphones in market to cement their transition towards the number uno position. Recently two other Canvas Fun series phones were made available in market viz. A76 Canvas Fun and A74 Canvas Fun.A67,A240 and A113 This time it’s Micromax A63 Canvas Fun that is expected to cost less than Rs 6000. Specs are quite similar; dual core 1.3 GHz ARM Cortex A7 application processor, 512 MB RAM are under the hood. It’s MediaTek MT6572 SoC that couples dual core 1.3 GHz Cortex A7 CPU and Mali 400-MP GPU.

Micromax A63 Canvas Fun sports 4 inch display with WVGA resolution. Built on Android 4.2.2 JellyBean platform the phone is equipped with 4 GB ROM and micro SD card slot. Normally all phones coming in less than Rs 6000 are supplied around 150 MB internal storage for apps like Lava Iris 402. Now at this situation if Canvas Fun A63 is priced Rs 5500 it will be a premium choice. But it doesn't look like to be that cheaper.

There is a 2 MP back camera. LED flash is there. Front camera is missing. It’s a 3G supported smartphone that comes with integrated HSPA+ radio. Other connectivity features are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro USB port. Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery powers the phone. You can expect approx 4.5 hrs of talk time in single charge.

Micromax A63 Canvas Fun is yet to reach store shelves. Expected price approx Rs 6000.
