Maybe you don't have a snapdragon device, but youre're pretty sure an old device could handle it still.
Until now you've been stuck, but a new online service called APK Downloader will allow you to download an apk file from the Google Play directly to your desktop rather than to your device.
It's very simple, first go to Google play and look for any application you want to download to your phone,then copy the link. Now go to APK Downloader, put the link of the application you copied it from Google Play and click on Generate Download link in order to get and display your Direct Download Link!
As you notice the steps are very simple, you can also download the APK Downloader application to download applications directly from the Google Chrome browser.
