Micromax got its new Brand Ambassador Hugh Jackman

India’s leading smartphone company Micromax has roped in Hollywood superstar Hugh ‘Wolverine’ Jackman as the company’s brand ambassador. In a first of its kind association, the actor shall be seen flaunting Micromax’s Canvas series of smartphones, starting with Micromax Canvas Turbo that’s scheduled to launch soon in coming days. Hugh Jackman shared his excitement on his association with the Indian brand by saying that for him India is among the most exciting countries in the world and that he shares the same cricket madness as Indian people.

The actor believes that the new Canvas offering from Micromax is an innovative product including the best of fun features that help him in balancing work with all other activities he engages in everyday. Shubhodip Pal, the Chief Marketing Officer of Micromax commented on this association saying Hugh Jackman represents the persona of Micromax, as he personifies aspiration, reinvention and fearlessness.

This was a calculated move on Micromax’ s end to expand the company’s footprint in the global market. Pal believes that having pulled in Hugh Jackman shall connect them with world audiences as he’s one of the leading names in the world entertainment industry.

With Micromax Canvas Turbo, the company plans to revolutionize the smartphone experience for mobile-users, and shall make available a truly world-class phone for the masses.
