HOW TO FORMAT OR RESET YOUR SYMBIAN PHONE

There are two types of phone reset:

(1)Hard reset

(2)Soft reset

First to hard reset your phone: switch off your phone, then press and hold
the following buttons at the same time,call button,3 button,* button and switch on the phone.Some phone will show formating while some will just show blank screen and then select language, your phone is formated.


Secondly to soft reset your phone: if your phone is switch off switch it on and enter the following keys *#7370# it will show enter your phone code then you enter and press ok your phone will switch off and on again.When it switches on choose 'english' as your language and you have just formatted your phone.

Note: Hard reset does not work in phoned like nokia e65,e63,e71 and its likes.
