How to Track or Recover Stolen or Lost blackberry phone-MTN, Etisalat, Glo or Airtel BlackBerry Phones!

If your Blackberry phone is stolen or lost; as a blackberry phone user, you should know that you can track or recover your Blackberry phone. My friend’s Blackberry phone was recently stolen. He came complaining to me that his new MTN Blackberry phone has been stolen. Meanwhile, he had earlier launched his complaint in one of Nigeria top website forum, nairaland.com where he was asked to post his Blackberry PIN Number. While he was still waiting for reply from nairaland.com, he met me. I gave him a simple procedure that he never believes will work like magic in track his stolen Blackberry phone. It’s amazing! He did not just track his blackberry phone; he even caught the person using his Blackberry phone. There are two simple alternative methods I asked him to follow; 1. If the blackberry phone/device is not active(I mean if the stolen phone is no longer in use) I asked him to; Log on to Blackberry admin site using a laptop, desktop or another Blackberry phone Put in his blackberry password and user name Type in his IMEI number or PIN Number, on the page that will be displayed after submitting user name and password and click on the search button A series of options will be displayed but the two major important options there are; To track the history of the phone/device To track the status of the device The history of the phone/device will show whether the phone is a stolen Blackberry phone or the phone has been suspended and the time it was suspended. The status of the phone will show the entire network (i.e. all the SIM card number that have been used on the phone), the network and currently SIM number using the phone/device, the person’s using phone You will click on (b.), track the status of the device (meaning that you are tracking your Blackberry phone user) Simply pull out the SIM Number and the person’s name using your blackberry phone. Call the phone number (the SIM number you have pulled out); pretend to know the person by calling the person’s name, immediately he/she picks pick your call. Tell him that you are so…so…so and so and that you want him to help you transact a business. Fixed a date with him, on that day go with police and collect your phone from him. Or if your phone is an MTN Blackberry phone, just work in to any nearest MTN office close to you. Supply the person’s SIM (phone) number and name. They will pull out all the available data (where the person is living, person’s father and mother’s name, family and friends’ number if he/she registers any, all the people he had been calling etc since the phone was stolen). DON’T TELL ME WHAT NEXT TO DO. 2. Alternatively, if your Blackberry device is still active( I mean if the stolen phone is in use); Using another blackberry, send a request your blackberry PIN and wait for person who stole your blackberry phone to accept you, If he/she accepts you, automatically the person’s picture will be displayed before. If you recognize the picture then you are done! If you couldn’t, gist with the person for some time to get all necessary information you needs to get him. This is just how my friend recovered his stolen Blackberry phone.
