FORGOT LOCK PATTERN ON YOUR ANDROID PHONE? Here is a way to reset it.

A week ago a friend called me saying he had a problem with his almost two month old android phone,he said he input a lock pattern in a hurry into his phone after almost an hour he wanted to open his phone, behold he had just forgotten his lock pattern.The way he sound he must have been worried just like any other person would be but not when i told him I knew the solution.
I gave him the direction and he followed and it was successful so I decided to share this solution with you
guys in case you come across something like this.Below are the simple steps, follow carefully.


(1)   Draw wrong patterns five(5) times on your pattern screen and wait for thirty(30) seconds,it will show "forgot pattern"

(2)   Select "forgot pattern" and enter your gmail account username and password.

(3)  Enter new pattern and that is all.

Be sure that your using the correct gmail account that you used to activate your phone but if you have forgotten your gmail id then you need to hard reset your phone which you will loose all your settings and applications.
